Las Vegas, Nev. — November 28, 2009 – Tuff-N-Uff raised its own game on Friday, November 27th, 2009 by matching the best talent amateur MMA has to offer. Adding to the thrill of the crowd was the attendance of the UFC heavyweight star Wanderlei Silva and the President of WEC, Reed Harris. No less exciting were the numerous bouts, which ended in TKOs and submissions.

Among the most memorable fights of the night was Jordan Wright vs. Justin Rote. The up and coming Jordan Wright, a Los Angeles-based fighter from Strike Sub Club submitted Rote with a triangle choke in the first round, and finished off his time in the ring with a series of acrobatic back and side flips to the utmost entertainment of the fans.

“We feel it is our mission to bring the state of amateur MMA to the next level. We are raising the bar for the fighters, as well as ourselves on the show production side. Our last event clearly proved that we are growing and improving simultaneously,” said Barry Meyer, the President of Tuff-N-Uff Productions.

Gor Mnatsakanyan of Filipino MMA displayed a full spectrum of MMA skills, including the well-executed punch and kick combinations. Although, he did not keep up with his own pace throughout the three rounds, he clearly outperformed Chris Brady and received the unanimous decision win, which brought his amateur MMA record to 5-0.

Latasha Marzolla vs. Kate McGray was the most anticipated match of the night. The women went the distance, but the well-conditioned Marzolla connected with more powerful and precise punches and kicks, and ended the night with unanimous decision win over McGray. She shared her victory in the ring with a son and a daughter.
