Twenty year old Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) Vice President, Dave Pavelich, son of MFC owner Mark Pavelich has ventured out on his own to create HEAT XC.
“I am setting the stage for a whole new breed of fighters. Its time to bring up new stars in the Mixed Martial Arts scene, and that is what HEAT XC is going to do,” says the young entrepreneur.
Dave Pavelich’s HEAT XC is the next big thing in Mixed Martial Arts, and with the support of family he is ready to take the full contact combat sport to another level.
“I am going to grow local talent as well as draw in fighters from around the world. It is time for me to prove that I am not just another promoters son, and HEAT XC is going to be a force to reckon with,” says Pavelich.

The first fight takes place at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, in Edmonton, January 30th 2009.
