Sergio Pettis Looks to Make Debut on UFC 167

Sergio Pettis (9-0-0) is the 20 year old little brother of lightweight champ Anthony Pettis and is rumored to be making his UFC debut on the November UFC 167 card against Vaughan Lee (13-9-1).

 

The bantamweight bout has not been officially announced by the UFC but has been confirmed by multiple media outlets to be in the works. Sergio “The Phenom” Pettis is coming of a first round submission win just last weekend at North American Fighting Championship against James Porter.

 

British fighter Vaughn Lee is 2-3-0 in the UFC  and is coming off of a first round submission loss to Raphael Assuncao, which took place in June on UFC on Fuel TV 10.

 

UFC 167 is headlined by current champion Georges St. Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks in a battle for the welterweight title. Other confirmed fights include:

Frank Mir v. Alister Overeem

Josh Koscheck v. Tyron Woodley

Edwin Figueroa v. Erik Perez
