-”FIGHTING POLITICS” has been official picked to be apart of the 2009 LAS VEGAS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, which will screen at 8:15pm on Friday, April 10th. Producer David Vahey and Matt Lindland will attending the screening. A Q&A session will be held after the screening for the audience and press. The cost is $7.

ABOUT THE FILM – Filmmaker David Vahey chronicled the controversy surrounding mixed martial artist Matt Lindland, whose promising career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship was cut short when he was dismissed for wearing the wrong clothing at a pre-match event. Although Lindland has yet to make it back to the UFC, his love for the sport and determination to keep providing for his family drives his will to be the best.
