Hayes-Bennet to Headline 11 Fight Card
TACOMA, WA –CageSport will present its second show of the year at the Emerald Queen Casino, Saturday August 30, 2008. Doors open at 6:00pm with the first fight starting at 7:00pm.
The main event will feature Seattle’s Mike “300” Hayes (3-0) from White Buffalo’s Gym facing Josh Bennett (7-4) from TeamQuest in Portland, Oregon. “These are two of the best up and coming heavyweights in the Northwest” said CageSport matchmaker Dennis Hallman. “Both of these guys are going to be looking for a knockout. This is a great heavyweight fight and the winner will be in the mix for the CageSport NW Heavyweight title.”
Also on the card will be Len Bentley who fights out of Victory Athletic in Olympia, WA. Bentley, who hails from Irving, Texas, is an Iraqi war veteran who served in the first wave of action in Iraq while stationed here in Washington at Ft. Lewis. Bentley was the NW Amateur Champion. Bentley, who is 2-0, will face Carmen Casella from Spokane, Wa’s Kempo Karate Club. Cassela was the N.W. regional Kickboxing Champion with 25 Amateur MMA bouts. This will be Cassels pro-Debut. “This will be a test for Bentley to see how he can handle Cassell’s well rounded MMA game” said Hallman. “For Cassella it will be a test to see how he handles the transition from Amateur to pro MMA fights.”
This is the second CageSport show at the Emerald Queen Casino which will present an 11 bout fight card.
