Former World Title Challenger Steve “The Mongoose“ Quinonez is changing hats from fighter to promoter as his newly formed promotional company Champion Promotions is hosting its first ever Boxing/MMA event at the beautiful Spot Light 29 Casino in Coachella, Ca. on November 28th, 2009

Several Inland fighters as well as other local Californians will have an opportunity to prove their talent in the international card “Clash of the Gladiators” inside the Spot Light Show room beginning at 6pm.

The fights:

In the feature bout WBC Intercontinental Youth Champion Michael “Lil Warrior” Franco of Mexican/Native American decent brings with him a legion of fans known as the “Warrior Nation” to all his bouts. The Mohawk sporting Franco is a big bantamweight and has been compared to Danny “Little Red“ Lopez who was also a big fighter for his division and carried crushing power in both hands that could bring a halt to any bout at any time.
