Boxing and MMA Together at Marriott

If you’re a fight fan and have tickets to the December 17th Battle in the Ballroom show, Christmas will come early for you! Fans in attendance will be treated to a Hybrid Fight Card consisting of four boxing bouts and two MMA bouts. This is the first time in Battle in the Ballroom history where two combative sports are featured on the same show.

Boxing action will see 8-0 Chika Nakamura fighting out of Los Angeles facing Santa Ana’s own Gloria Ramirez as Chika tries to stay undefeated and go to 9-0.

Also in action will be local prospect Robert Vargas with a 4-0-1 record facing Carlos Luque out of Arizona. In a great six round super middleweight battle Long Beach’s own Danny Perez 8-6-1 5ko’s takes on Marriott favorite Billy Bailey 9-5-3 3ko’s fighting out of Bakersfield.

In MMA action fans will be treated to a light heavyweight bout featuring Ramon Franco 1-0-1 vs. Carlos Fuentes 2-2, these guys can bang! The featured MMA bout of the night will be a re-match between Aaron Miller 8-6 vs. Brian Abrams 4-1. This fight is for the Iceman Rx Belt and is a rematch from our OC Fair SUMMERFIST show.
